The primary responsibilities of the delivery driver/sales associate position are to support Cole stores and provide outstanding customer service. You will drive the company vehicle, performing customer and inter-store deliveries that involve loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating the company vehicle safely. 

Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record.

As a company sales associate, you will be responsible for assisting your assigned location with stocking, selling, and other tasks when not out on delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional delivery experience to all of our customers
• Facilitate deliveries to retail customers and other Cole stores 
• Maintain and operate the company vehicle and equipment and report any incidents immediately
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
• Load and unload merchandise safely from the company vehicle
• Assist with stocking, selling, and other in-store tasks     
• Assist in service calls such as cutting keys, cutting or threading pipe, cutting window shades, cutting wood, cutting glass, building grills, and providing other customer-centric services
• Communicate clearly and provide courteous customer service
• Uphold attendance policies

Qualifications:

• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
• Driver experience preferred but not required
• Retail experience preferred but not required
• 25 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word, and Gmail preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, and high attention to detail
