For new windows, skylights, shower doors or window glass, we recommend Andy, a 3rd generation San Franciscan. Andy’s grandfather began his glass business back in 1936 on Mission Street, but the business has sure changed since then. Customers can now purchase energy efficient windows and take a 30% tax deduction on materials up to $1500. Who was talking energy conservation back in the 30’s?
Andy is an established glazier that will come to your home and assist you with whatever you might need. Remodels, change outs of windows, shower doors, skylights or a simple piece of glass are all Andy’s specialties. Andy loves the personal interaction with his customers and vendors, and believes he is in “the people business”. He will not accept anything less than 100% customer satisfaction with his installations.
Both shower door and window installations can sometimes be very tricky. A customer may have a leak that he or she thinks is coming from a window, but the leak actually has a different source. Andy does not want the customer to purchase new windows and still have a leak. Sometimes he must call in a general contractor to help find the source of the leak. Window changeouts are not necessarily simple because many new installations of windows require the work of a knowledgeable general contractor, as the wall may need to be re-sized. A new shower door may need to be modified to eliminate water from going outside the shower.
