Handi-Shims, a Tradesperson’s Best Friend!
Handi-Shims are a new, precise and very easy way of shimming, spacing, plumbing and leveling. There are hundreds of uses for these shims both in and out of the trades. Keep one in your wallet to level out the wobbly table at the restaurant! The edge is sharp enough to scrape gum off your shoe–the uses are truly endless! Handi–Shims are colorcoded by size: 1/32” is green, 1/16” is red, 1/8” is white and 1/4” is blue. Each are also conveniently scored so they can be reduced in size with a knife. Dental Picks, at a Hardware Store?
No, we’re not crazy, and no, these dental picks are not sold to dental offices on the cheap to eventually be used by your hygienist. In fact our dental picks are recycled; they are surplus, and no longer ideal for scraping plaque off of teeth. But they are positively wonderful for scraping the paint from delicate wood surfaces for refinishing projects, cleaning grout out from between tiles, and much, much more.
