What the Hay? Worm Compost

All the fertile areas of this planet have at least once passed through the bodies of earthworms.” - Charles Darwin.
The makers of What the Hay? Vermicompost would agree. What the Hay? compost is named for its main ingredient, Timothy Hay; which is fed to pet guinea pigs. Their waste is mixed with kitchen scraps and placed in two Wriggly Worm Factories. Inside the worm bin, composting red worms, Eisenia Foetida, convert the decomposing organic matter into a rich plant food and a slow-releasing fertilizer. Castings contain more nitrogen, calcium, and potash than a good topsoil. The nutrients are water-soluble and will not burn plants, unlike fresh raw manures.
The cured product is then packaged in the empty hay bags. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! (Sku 701002, Reg. 5.99, Sale 2.99)
