 Cole Hardware Hosts South Korean Delegation
Recently our friend Virginia St. Jean at San Francisco’s Department of Public Health asked Cole Hardware to host a visit from a delegation of South Korean business persons attending a conference on both private and public sustainability in the City. The program was sponsored by the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable (NPPR), which is the largest membership organization in the United States devoted solely to pollution prevention. The Roundtable’s mission is to provide a national forum for promoting the development, implementation and evaluation of efforts to avoid, eliminate or reduce pollution at the source.
After Dave wowed the visitors with some of his card tricks, Rick and Julia addressed the group regarding the environmentally friendly practices at Cole Hardware and the process of becoming a green business in San Francisco – the nation’s first green hardware store! We’re proud of our partnership with the various City departments and are happy to be an ambassador from San Francisco’s green business community to the world!
