March Gardening Tips

- If you haven't pruned, do so now. In general, the best time to prune any woody plant is just before new growth begins. Cut at an angle, just above the buds, to stimulate new growth.
- To rejuvenate established perennial herbs, such as lavender mint or sage, cut back old growth and remove dead stems. Fertilize, water and voilá
