Ask Alice! We Think She'll Know!

Alice is one of our most famous crew members and our Business-to- Business specialist. You’ve probably already seen Alice either working hard in our Cole Fox Store or on the mural just outside. This year marks her 25th anniversary as “the special order goddess” – She can source anything!

We were fortunate enough to inherit Alice when we purchased the longtime Fox Hardware store. In 1984, while bored at home, Alice saw Fox Hardware’s ad for a cashier position. Alice interviewed for the job, was hired on the spot (of course), and started the very next day. One day, Mr. Fox called her upstairs and asked if she wanted to help out at the commercial desk. Although she was shy at first, she soon grew to love the job and it's shown everyday since.

As all of our stores have their own personalities and blend into the fabric of our City neighborhoods, our downtown store caters to the commercial clientele surrounding the area. Convenience and personal service are Alice’s specialty.
